LingoFlo by the numbers
Every LingoFlo language comes with packs matched to your level, ready-made word and phrase decks, scripts, stories, Grammar Hacks and a Dictionary, all ranked by the words you will actually meet.
Supported languages
Pick the language you are learning and the language you learn in. Every language gets its own Vault, packs matched to your level, Grammar Hacks, a Dictionary, AI chat, stories and Snap & Translate.
Start with ready-made word decks, phrase decks, scripts, stories and pronunciation support for every LingoFlo language.
How it works
Create and verify your account, then choose the language you are learning, the language you learn in and your level. Once learning setup is complete, your 14-day welcome begins. Available starter packs get your Vault ready to practise. Mark words you already know so you can start at the right level.
Flip it. Rate it. Master it. Every word and phrase card carries examples, audio, conjugations and your notes. Rate it Easy, Medium or Hard, pull down for Nailed it or Momentarily forgot, then meet the same words again in scripts and stories, with spelling, dictation and pronunciation scoring on the same card.
Every rating lands in your Vault. A mastery ring shows what is Mastered, Easy, Medium, Hard or still Awaiting, memory strength shows how well it is holding, and coverage shows how much everyday language you now understand. Every number is real, and nothing is learned twice.
One tap on the wave icon builds today's session: due reviews, at-risk words the forgetting curve says are slipping, and a few new cards, all sized to the daily goal you chose. Clear the flow and the words stay.
Four kinds of content
Every language gets one Vault with tabs for Words, Phrases, Scripts and Stories. Progress on a word stays connected wherever it appears, and decks move through To do, Active and Done lanes as your focus changes.
Practise word decks matched to your level, group decks, or decks you build yourself. Add vocabulary during your welcome or with paid access; on Free, keep reviewing your active collection.
To do / Active / DoneReady-to-use phrases with curated sources and literal translations, so you learn what people really say instead of word lists.
Curated phrases in every languageRole-play real conversations line by line: generate from a prompt, build from your Vault words, or write your own with auto-translate.
Play, loop, slow downShort stories written at your level from your own Vault, with narration, tap-to-translate and a difficulty badge before you open it.
Narrated, tap to translatePacks, decks and the Dictionary
Choose your level during setup and start with the available word and phrase packs. During your welcome or with paid access, load more vocabulary at your own pace. Afterwards, Free keeps your active collection ready to review.
A ready-made bundle for one language and one theme: word decks, phrase decks and often a script that uses them, from Core A1 ladders to Slang, False Friends and Travel & Emergencies. Each pack shows how many words are new for you before you add it.
Build decks of up to 100 words around a textbook, a trip or a film, then share them with a group so everyone practises the same words and sees their own progress.
Look words up in either direction, including on Free. During your welcome or with paid access, save them to your Vault or add your own words with the same flashcard treatment.
More ways to practise
Beyond flashcards, every word in your Vault can be drilled the way real life will test it, right up to a live conversation with your AI partner. Each drill counts toward your streak and your daily goal.
Type, or tap Talk and hold a real-time spoken conversation with your AI partner at a pace from slow to full native speed. Ask how to say something mid-chat, get gentle corrections, and save the best exchanges as a script.
Search in either direction for translations, examples, native audio, conjugations and usage notes. Lookups stay available on Free; saving new vocabulary requires welcome or paid access.
Rules that trip learners up, turned into one idea you can hold: the verb bracket, ser vs estar, the ne…pas sandwich. A pattern, a watch-out and quick exercises.
Point your camera at a menu, sign or page to translate it using your AI allowance. During your welcome or with paid access, save new words to your Vault for practice.
Hear a word or phrase in a native voice and type it. Missed accents and double letters are pointed out, not marked plain wrong. Slow it right down or push to full speed.
Spell it from memory on any flashcard. Near-misses count differently from wrong answers, and your spelling score climbs in the Vault.
Multiple choice built from your own Vault, and gap fills inside real example sentences with curated distractors.
Press and spin the mastery ring to climb ahead of the rising water. Treasure chests ask about your own words. Even the shark boss is one of your problem words.
When a word keeps failing, LingoFlo builds a short script around it, so the stuck word gets context instead of another blind repeat.
Vault progress
Every word you keep lands in your Vault with its meaning, examples, audio and conjugations. A mastery ring shows what you have truly learned, memory strength shows how well it is holding up, and one number ties it all together: the share of everyday language you can now understand. No points, no gems, no hearts.
Mastered, Easy, Medium, Hard and Awaiting items stay grouped around what you practise, so the next review is always clear. A broken streak can be repaired rather than lost, and your daily goal is a promise you chose yourself.

Saved mastery decisions for your word vault.
A rating, a Nailed it or Momentarily forgot, a correct spelling, dictation, pick-the-answer or gap fill, a scored pronunciation attempt, a finished story or Grammar Hack. Passive browsing never counts.
A word can appear in several decks, but the Vault keeps one progress record for it. Rate it anywhere and every deck, script and story sees the same mastery.
Memory strength averages how you have rated every card, with Mastered counting in full and Hard the least. Coverage turns that into the share of everyday language you can now read.
Your daily goal is a number you chose, from 5 to 50 items. Hit it and the streak grows. Miss a day and the streak can be repaired rather than lost.
Coming up shows what is due each day this week, so you know what tomorrow's Daily Flow will ask before it asks.
Your week shows reviews against last week with one tap to share. Already know some of the Vault? Sweep through it, tap I know it or Still learning, and start where you really are.
Chat
Message back and forth like you would with a friend, or tap Talk and hold a live spoken conversation at a pace you choose, from clear and slow to full native speed. Pick a scenario or just talk, set the level from A1 to C1, and every reply can be translated or played back with a tap.
Pick your levelA1A2B1B2C1
Nine scenarios, or just talk
Switch from typing to a live voice call in one tap. Choose Marin or Cedar as your partner's voice and a pace from Slow to Fast.
Stuck for words? Ask mid-conversation and get the phrasing without leaving the chat.
Your own lines are corrected before they are saved, so you rehearse what you meant to say. Replay any conversation turn by turn.
When a chat goes well, save it as a script and practise it until it is yours.
Features
Daily Flow, spaced repetition, pronunciation scoring, AI scripts and Vault signals work together so words, phrases, scripts and stories keep moving in the right order.
Daily Flow
Daily Flow blends scheduled reviews, new word and phrase cards, and at-risk items into one clear session, then keeps the day's set stable so learning feels focused instead of random.
Cards scheduled by the Spaced Repetition System come back first.
The forgetting curve helps pull forward words and phrases before they fade.
Fresh word and phrase cards can join the session without overwhelming the review queue.
SRS + memory curve
LingoFlo uses a Spaced Repetition System and the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve to estimate retrievability, surface due cards, and pull forward items that are becoming fragile.
Successful recalls stretch the next interval. Slips bring the item back sooner.
Retrievability estimates help decide what is still fresh, what is due, and what is at risk.
Repeated retrieval failures can trigger extra context, such as a useful script around a difficult word.
AI scripts
Give LingoFlo a situation and it writes a short dialogue at your level. Build one from the words in your Vault, turn today's Daily Flow into a scene, or write your own and let auto-translate fill in the other side. Then rehearse with a different voice per speaker, loop it, slow it down and score every line.
Ordering breakfast, checking into a hotel, explaining you have lost your bag. Describe the scene and get an editable script at your level.
Pick up to eight words or phrases from your Vault and get a short script that uses every one of them in context.
Turn today's due words into a scene, so every line rehearses vocabulary you are already working on.
Add speakers, type your lines in either language, and auto-translate fills in the other side before you save.

A short pull marks a confident recall as Nailed it. A deeper pull marks a slip as Momentarily forgot. Both go straight into the Spaced Repetition System, so every pull changes when that word comes back.
Pronunciation scoring
Tap the microphone on any card or script line, say it, and pronunciation assessment scores your accuracy, fluency, completeness and prosody, so speaking practice stays connected to the very word you are learning.
Groups
A class, a couple planning a move, colleagues before a posting abroad, or three friends who promised each other they would finally learn Italian. Create a group, share the decks and scripts everyone should work on, and keep each other honest with real numbers only.
Add members by email, send an invite link, or let them scan a QR code. Anyone who joins later gets the shared content too.
Decks and scripts you share appear straight in every member's To do lane, each with their own progress.
Talk in the group chat with reactions, and rehearse the same script for the same trip.
Reviews this week, streak and coverage for each member. No global leagues, no strangers, no gems.

Your 14-day welcome starts after you verify your account and finish learning setup in the app, not when you download it. Each account receives one welcome; reinstalling or changing languages does not restart it.
You continue on Free with up to 200 active words and phrases combined across your account, selected automatically from your vocabulary with priority for what you are practising and still learning. The selection stays stable. Free cannot add new vocabulary, even below the limit, and deleting items does not make room for replacements.
Your other vocabulary stays saved with its progress, outside active reviews. Existing scripts, stories and reference content remain available. Unused welcome AI allowance stays usable, but Free has no recurring refill. AI use does not unlock new vocabulary additions.
Pro or Pro+ reactivates your saved vocabulary with its progress, lets you add new vocabulary and provides the plan’s recurring AI allowances. A subscription starts only when you choose to buy it. Cancelling renewal keeps paid access until that access expires.
No. AI Boosts are one-time top-ups for active personal Pro and Pro+ subscribers; welcome access and Free do not qualify. A Boost you have bought never expires and stays usable if your subscription ends.
